I have used several Good Tone Guild reeds and have found them to be extremely usable and comfortable. Also the customer service is the best anywhere. Upon receipt, they do have to be soaked for several minutes and then they play quite nicely, and they more you break them in, the better they get. I recommend them to everyone - oboe, english horn and bassoon. If you are unsure which strength or style - email or call and you will get a prompt answer.
