Trustwave certified Hodge Products, Inc. for meeting the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).  PCI DSS is a multifaceted security standard that includes requirements for security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design and other critical protective measures. This comprehensive standard is intended to help organizations proactively protect customer account data.

Credit Card Payment Processors

To ensure the protection of your payment information we use CRE Secure and PayPal to process online credit card payments.  Both  CRE Secure and PayPal  are PCI DSS compliant service providers.  Hodge Products, Inc. never stores payment card account information in electronic form, nor do we even have access to the account information for online purchases.

SSL Certificates

An SSL Certificate issued by Go Daddy Secure Certification Authority protects HodgeProductsInc.com. SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer, which is the standard security technology for creating an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all sensitive data passed between the web server and browser remains private and secure. Your will know you have created an SSL link with our web server during the checkout process by seeing the "https://" at the beginning of the URL, as well as seeing the padlock icon (available in most but not all browsers) in your Web browser.

For paying with a credit card you will have a choice of using CRE Secure or PayPal.  If you choose CRE Secure You will be transferred to a payment page at cresecure.net.  The payment page has the same look and feel as pages on our website but is actually located on a CRE Secure server.  An SSL Certificate issued by UTN-USERFIRS-Hardware protects CRESecure.net.  The certificate will identify the site as hodgeproductsinc.cresecure.net.  Alternatively, if you use PayPal you will be transferred to the familiar PayPal site for payment.  PayPal.com uses an SSL Certificate issued by VeriSign.

Cookies

A cookie is a small piece of text stored on a user's computer by a web browser.  Cookies are used for remembering specific information about users, such as the contents of their shopping carts.  Being simple pieces of text, cookies are not executable.  To purchase items at hodgeproductsinc.com you must have your browser configured to accept cookies.
